One of those in my wider circle of influence (a friend of several friends) is a talented photographer and "brand designer" named Sean Sheridan. Recently, he made a trip to Africa and took this picture -- showing a picture of a man shot in the head during the 1994 Rwandan genocide. He's in front of the memorial building in Murambie. A tragic, yet redemptive picture, the photo is up for a Smithsonian magazine award for picture of the year.
